Anniversary Style

Last week I shared some photos from our anniversary date. In picking out my outfit, the number one thing I wanted was to be comfortable - which meant that even after eating, I wanted to be free to NOT hold in my stomach.

I got this top and clutch from H&M on my last trip. The skirt I've had for a while and wore it here. The shoes are SO comfortable, so even though I've been having issues wearing heels, I'm glad to know that I can wear them as long as they're block heels.

From what I've read about style, if you pair a loose top with a pencil skirt, you should look balanced. I thought that was the look I was going for, but maybe not as some people thought I looked pregnant in the Anniversary post - BTW, if I was preggers, you wouldn't need to guess as chances are that I'd share the news on the blog (maybe). Soooooooooooo, just wait until I tell you I am :)

Every time I see black and white outfits, I almost always take a second look. There's something about black and white - my wedding colors were black and white too, so obviously I love them. The Chameleon Blogger wears them sooooooooooo well!

I wish the photos came out better, but we were rushing (as usual).

    1. I think I got them at Steve Madden during the Black Friday sale. They were too comfy to pass up. I got a different pair of block heels on DSW though so you might want to check there

  3. I really like the skirt.
At first I thought it was glittery (with sequins) but now I see snakeskin. What is it?
Your hair looks really nice too.

  4. Hi Berry,

You look very lovely, I like outfits that are comfortably chic. I also like how you matched the different prints.

That's a great style tip, yes, pairing a loose top with a pencil skirt does give a balanced look.

I read your article on Bella Naija, it was well-written. :-)

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Thanks a lot. Sometimes I forget about trying to balance looks and then cringe when I see photos afterwards.

Thanks re:the article. I didn't even know it was posted until much later that night.
