Berry Peachy Weekend

Hey people,

Yup, I'm still at home in Atlanta - hence, the PEACHY (Georgia's official state fruit is the Peach). This weekend was quite busy. I feel like I should be doing a lot of sleeping during this trip, but my body clock is bonkers!!! I'm sleeping waaaaaaaay late and waking up very early for no blawdy reason. I just don't get it. Oh well. I had a full weekend and right now I'm exhausted out of my mind. But so I don't get scolded for not posting, here's my weekend post ON TIME!!!

On Friday I ran a bunch of errands (yes, because this is home too, I have errands). On Saturday, I was invited to a Sip and Shop party courtesy of F&W Style (a handbag line - Nigerians are doing big things everywhere).

Wumi - owner of F&W Style

Wumi's mum also has a clothing line, and shares the boutique as well.

After the F&W Style shopping party, I had a Ladies Christmas Tree Ornament party at my church here. It's always a fun time, and it was one of the things I missed most about moving back to Nigeria - my church here really feels like family.

On Sunday, we had an overfilling family lunch - by the time I come back, I'll be over 200lbs, I'm sure :(

And that's all folks!!!

  2. It looks like you're having so much fun! And I'm so jealous of the fact that it looks quite warm over there. The wet, enter-your-bones cold here in Brussels is slowly turning me into a style-less homeless-looking somebody. I miss naija, Paris, London and even Atlanta sef (even though I've never been to that part of the states) :(

Ok, enough of my one-man pity-party. I just came on here to tell you I nominated you for the Sunflower award.
Have a lovely week and enjoy the rest of your time there!
