What I've Learned from being a Candy Crush Addict

Yes, everyone... I admit it. I am addicted to Candy Crush. They say the first step in conquering an addiction is acknowledging that you are addicted in the first place. Hopefully, this steers me in the path of overcoming said addiction. But hold up, I've actually learned some things and benefited from Candy Crush, so I'm pretty sure letting it go at this time, would not be the very best idea.

What have I learned from being addicted to Candy Crush, you ask? Well, let's find out the Top 3 things below :)

  1. Candy Crush has taught me to be PATIENT. After playing and losing all my lives, it takes a couple of hours to be restored to Full Lives again. I've gotten used to patiently waiting for my lives to be restored.
  2. Candy Crush has taught me to be STRATEGIC. At different points, in different levels of the game, you have to use your critical and analytic thinking skills, in order to strategize which candies should be moved where and when.
  3. Candy Crush has made me increase in EMPATHY. Before I accepted Candy Crush in my life, I used to be judgmental towards other players of not only Candy Crush, but also of my husband, Cakes. "Why o why must people be so overcome by a game, that they choose not to interact face-to-face for the better part of 30+ minutes?," I thought to myself. Now I know, and it has made me more understanding towards others.
Thank you Candy Crush. I am definitely a better human being because of you.

  13. I am Noelle and I'm a candy crushaholic. I manage to control my addiction weeks at a time then I relapse. After being stuck at 140 for 3weeks I broke through on Sunday. And put away my tab until I woke up at midnight and saw berry's post and grabbed my tab again. But good news, I managed to pass odus at 43 dreamworld where I've been stuck for months... muaahhahahahaaha...

  14. Loool.. candy crush taught me never to give up. Even when it seems like I couldn't pass a level, I'll keep trying till I scale through. I'm in level 280 and 10 in odus. Guilty as charged
