Snowy Day Photo Walk

If you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@Berrydakara), then you know that it snowed in Atlanta this weekend. Having lived in Boston for a long time, it always tickles me the way Atlantans react to snow. Just a few inches of snow causes a state of emergency, a frenzy everywhere, and basically everything shuts down. It's understandable because they're not used to snow, as it comes maybe once a year. Plus the biggest issue is black ice! When the snow starts to melt, if the temperature is below freezing, it turns into a layer of ice on the roads that can cause accidents. My brother actually got into a fender bender on Saturday night on a bridge over a major highway, but we thank God he got home safely.

Anyways, the point of this post is to share photos I took around the house on Saturday morning. I was this close to lying in and keeping warm, but it occurred to me that I haven't been putting my Photography skills to any use. I refused to let the opportunity pass me by. I hope you enjoy the photos :)

  4. I really like your photography Berry. There's a difference between someone taking a picture with a camera, and having that artistic eye, and I think you have the latter. I hope we get to see more of your work :)

  5. Beautiful pics. They look like this stock pics I use on pexels.com.Amazing.the staircase one looks like it was painted white and brown. The berry, leaves, tree and statue ones are beautiful.
I think that the background and objects over there emphasises your photographing skills more. Or maybe you just take photos more since you travelled.

    1. Ooooh, let me check out pexels. And maybe I should think about submitting my photos as stock photos o. Your comment just made me think about that as an option to make small money if possible.

Maybe the improvement is from taking that photography class online last year? I'd love to come home and shoot some nice photographs too.
