Moi at Social Media Week, Lagos - the Pro Photos

Ok, so my friend and fellow aspiring actor, Demi Olubanwo is a fast-rising wedding photographer in Lagos. I met him at church, when he auditioned to join our dance/drama ministry and he said he read my Aje-Butter NYSC blog. It  was a funny meeting...

Demi: Hello everyone. I'm an aspiring actor, my name's Demi. I'm about to start NYSC soon.
Me: *loudly whispers* Awww, you should read my blog.
Demi: What blog is that?
Me: The Aje-Butter's Guide to NYSC
Demi: *gasp* You're Aje-Butter?!?!
Me: *double gasp* You read my blog?!?!?!?
Demi: YES! Wow, you give so much information.
Me: OMG Yaaaaaaay
Drama Director: *ahem* Excuse me, we're trying to audition here. Be friends AFTER we're done.
Me: Eeek! Sawry. *whispers* Demi, make sure you talk to me after auditions.

And that was the beginning of our beautiful friendship. He went on to play Joseph (father of Jesus) and I played Herodias (wife of Herod) in our church's Christmas musical - The Inimitable. I'm still trying to figure out how I can put my scene online, without infringing on any copyrights.

Anyways, the whole point of this post is to show the pictures Demi took of me at the Conversations for Change event during Social Media Week.

Yeah, my earrings are half as big as my head. And yes, I must POUT!!! *kissy kissy*

Well, I had twisted my hair and the twist-out wasn't what I expected, so temporary locs were the order of the week.

:)
You can check out Demi's blog and fantastic photographs at Photos By Demi. BTW, he also shoots for Chef Fregz here and there.

Ok, I'm outtie. I don't want you to catch my horrendous cold.

*no hugs or kisses today*
