Tips for while you're Trying to Conceive

Trying to conceive can be a real lesson in patience. It can easily lead to depression, strife within a marriage, jealousy and more. In this vlog which I posted last week, I share 3 ways that I've been using to cope during our wait for our children. Like I said in the video, it's important to turn life's lemons into lemonade and see the good in everything.

If you or someone you know is going through this, I urge you to share the video with them :) Also, please subscribe to my Youtube Channel and let me know what else you want to see on it.

Thanks!

    Such Encouraging ways to Cope!
Love that you pray for the babies you see & their parents!
& hold on to scriptures about women who had to wait a LONG time for their babies!

    1. Thanks Annette! I've found that I feel a lot better and good inside when I extend prayers out for them. And the scriptures about the women in the Bible is so encouraging.

  2. I watched the videos and i was really challenged. It is brave for you to talk about something this sensitive. May God answer you prayers and don't forget to invite me to the naming ceremony of your twins:a boy and girl!

  3. I'm so proud of you Berry! This is great advice! I too went through TTC for over 3 years and was finally told I could NOT get pregnant. My mother encouraged me with the story of Hannah. I decided to keep trusting God and focused on being healthy and now my baby is here in my arms. :) God's timing is everything and nothing is too hard for Him! I am excited to see God work His timing and continuous perfection in your life too! :)

  4. You will have your own children because it is your right as God's child. Don't stop being good and don't stop believing and professing by Faith.

  6. It's really emotional to just put yourself out there. You are bringing hope to a lot of people who are trying to conceive. It's great you have a supportive husband. I wish you both blessings.

  7. Hello Berry, one of your points about Learning how to thank God for what you have versus focusing on what you don't have was my turning point. I waited to conceive for 8 years and on the day before my birthday in 2007, i was driving home, alone in the car and in traffic, dwelling in my sorrow that was there to be happy about, my seventh year in marriage not having taken in not even once. And i was looking a woman roasting corn by the road side with her child by her side, and i told God am sure this woman must be happier than i am even though she may not have as much material things as i had. You know what happened at that moment? The Holy spirit spoke to me asking me, why i was so focused on what God had not done, why not thank God for all he has done in my life, i was quite taken aback but i knew straight away that the voice i heard deep in me was God speaking to me. I got home, cleaned my tears, threw away the plan of my usual pity party, went out made my hair, and cheered up and thanked God for all the wonderful things he had done. I went to work the next day, all happy and cheerful and had a good birthday. Berry, i got pregnant naturally without any Dr's treatment or appointment the very NEXT MONTH!!! It was like a film, i lived in unbelief even after the pregnancy was confirmed. This is me, that had done all possible medical treatment and even a failed IVF some months prior. So i fully agree with you, these points of yours are the way to go. I pray for you and join my faith with yours in this journey and i am so sure you will laugh soon, and please get ready, when God answers, He opens the gate of heavens and floods you with his blessings. My 8 years of waiting, went by and He blessed me with 3 children all within 4 years!!
