You guys, I just heard about Prince's death and I'm so shocked!!! Like WTH??? HOW? WHY???
I'm really sad about it and I teared up a little when I saw a clip of Red Corvette on CNN. My extended family and I have been on Whatsapp for the past hour talking about it, and my mum regrets that she never saw him in concert. Funny enough, he did 2 shows in Atlanta last week and I didn't even know! Well, even if I knew, the tickets sold out in minutes so I wouldn't have had a chance.
This reminds me of when Michael Jackson died. I've shared my reaction before in
this post. I was distraught!!! I thought the world was about to end and I couldn't stop crying for 2 weeks!
Well, may Prince rest in peace. He truly was a legend and an icon.

I'm going on Youtube to start crying now. Actually, I take that back. Prince didn't even have a Youtube channel. I just remembered something about him being against Youtube and other music streaming websites.

DeleteThe news of his death shocked me. He was among the memorable artistes from my childhood. He style, both musically and fashion-wise, was very unique.
ReplyDeleteYes, reminded me of MJ’s passing too. It's sad when Death snatches the heroes in our childhood memories.
It was so cute how some radio stations played a lot of his music after the news broke, I got to discover songs that I hadn't heard before. :-)
