DIY: Crochet Wig A La Berry!

Hey guys,

For some reason, I'm not getting enough rest yet while I'm out here in the US. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know why - my siblings and I drove from Atlanta to Boston to attend our cousin's wedding. That drive is about 16 hours if you don't stop at all. But we had to stop to buy fuel (Chai, Nigeria, smh), get food, and sleep (on our way TO Boston - we didn't sleep on our way back to Atlanta). Anyways, you can imagine that with all the driving and wedding activities, I haven't gotten that much sleep.

But, I'll give a better update tomorrow or Thursday. For now, I want to show you what I made: A CROCHET WIG!!!

I had seen it on this blog post, and thought about paying her to make one. But on a whim, I decided to buy the materials needed and proceeded to make a crochet wig the night before the wedding.

This was at 2am or so. And I wonder why I'm exhausted :p
It turned out pretty good, and I've been flaunting it everywhere. I wore it to my cousin's wedding on Saturday.

I also had it on at my niece's birthday party yesterday.

My sister is taking mine from me, so I have to make another one for myself, and my other sister, cousin and some friends have also asked me to make for them. If you want one too (Lagos preferably, but I might agree to deliver across Nigeria too), send me an email (berrydakara@gmail.com) and I'll let you know the price, payment, etc.

  4. It looks very nice, I actually thought it was your Nazuri curls when I saw the picture on Instagram. Can you compare both? Quality? Texture? Ease of management? etc
