Hiya!
I didn't mean to be gone this long since my last post. Thanks for all the love you sent my way! I'm getting my groove back and the desire to create is stirring within me. That desire led me to my sewing machine a couple of weeks ago. First of all, my title is misleading. I got some fabric from my dad's friend after I had Cocoa. In his culture/tribe, they gift a woman some George fabric when she has a baby. I'm not one to tie it as a wrapper, so I started trying to figure out how to best use the material in a way that I would wear it multiple ways.
The fabric looked similar to plaid to me, and the first thing that occurred to me to make was a sleeveless kimono/vest. I think I might make a skirt or pants when I get the next urge. Anyways, check out the photos below. I hope you like them :)

DIY: Crochet Wig A La Berry!
Hey guys,
For some reason, I'm not getting enough rest yet while I'm out here in the US. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know why - my siblings and I drove from Atlanta to Boston to attend our cousin's wedding. That drive is about 16 hours if you don't stop at all. But we had to stop to buy fuel (Chai, Nigeria, smh), get food, and sleep (on our way TO Boston - we didn't sleep on our way back to Atlanta). Anyways, you can imagine that with all the driving and wedding activities, I haven't gotten that much sleep.
But, I'll give a better update tomorrow or Thursday. For now, I want to show you what I made: A CROCHET WIG!!!

Berry DIY Weekend and a Mini Review
Hello lovers and friends!
How are ya? How'd your weekend go? Mine was pretty restful, which was needed. As you know from my 2015 Goals post, I want to lose some weight, so I've been exercising and it really tuckers me out. I work out for at least 40 minutes a day, and I'm already seeing results on the scale, so YAY ME! Anyways, the point is that exercising throughout the week makes me really tired at night, so having a mostly quiet weekend was very necessary. And it gave me time to finally get my DIY on!
