A Nigerian in defense of Kim Kardashian...

I really wasn't going to comment on Nigeria vs Kim Kardashian, but I'm really getting sick, tired and irritated with all the holier-than-thou hypocrites who constantly demean Kim K. and have absolutely nothing good to say about her.

  1. Her sex tape: Ok, she had sex with her boyfriend; they taped it; it leaked; she turned it around and made money from it. 100% of people who attack her on this have sinned in one way or another. Guess what? Your sin isn't holier than hers. SHUT UP AND STOP JUDGING! *makes mental note to stop saying icky things about Rihanna and Taylor Swift* #HypocriteInReform

  2. Her appearance at Darey's concert: I personally don't think Kim K. would dishonor a contract. That doesn't mean that she never has. However, for everyone who was annoyed that she was on stage for 45 seconds, what did you expect her to do? She's not a performing artist! Her singing is terrible! Her dancing is worse! So what exactly is your point? Oh, that Darey supposedly spent 500K to bring her here? Is it your money? Is he complaining to you? Is it Nigerian money that he stole to pay her? If you answered NO to any of the three preceding questions, then CALM DOWN!

  3. That she tweeted some rubbish about Nigerian women: Let's face it - You already don't like her, so you WILL be quick to attack her for tweeting something so stupid, naturally. BUT someone else has already said he made it all up - and is even gloating about it (never mind that she's been insulted over and over again for the better part of the last 24 hours). Kim Kardashian may have loose morals (to the holier-than-thou folk), but she's not foolish.
So, what am I saying in essence, LEAVE HER ALONE! We already have enough problems within the country, so why are you making noise about a pregnant woman on the other side of the world?!

  1. This is so on point. I hate the holier than though folks... Alot in Nigeria.

  2. Thank you for this! The truth is, the people that condemn her are far worse; but like the typical us, we are so quick to point out the mistakes of others. I don't see anything wrong with her; in fact, I even consider her real -- as in original, that's her, that's her life, she must live her life, that's why she is Kim. I may not be able live the way she lives, and that's because I'm me, and can never be Kim. No one is made to be someone else. My saying 'if two of us are alike, one of us is unnecessary'. There can only be one Kim Kardashian, with her unique kind of lifestyle; hate her or like her; that is her! Thanks again!

  3. OK, I will stop being mean to Kim K, just for you. Seriously though, we all have our faults, and our lives to live.

I'd love to hear from you about this post! Let's all learn and share our worlds.
