I'm sooooooo excited!

Guys!

I was thisclose to sleeping off last night, when I got a BIG surprise! After that, it took me another hour and a half to finally go to sleep. I woke up this morning and I'm STILL tingling with excitement. I know you can't wait to hear why :D

Ok, I realize you may be rolling your eyes right now, but I'm the biggest celebrity appreciator! Like, if I've seen you on TV or something and I recognize you in real life, I'm instantly starstruck.

So anyways, my friend calls me last night at about 10:15 and is telling me how her day went. I'm all "Uh huh, really, ok, mmm, yes, no, right, yeah I'm tired, I'm going to sleep, g'nite." And then I settle to go to sleep. And then my phone rings again, and I'm like "Ok, what did she forget to tell me?" I answer the phone yawning cos I'm really tired. And I hear her speaking to someone and she goes "Will you talk to her? Ok, Berry, hold on." And then...

Him: Hello
Me: Hello. Wait, is this Flavour? *mind you, I'd been going on about him all weekend with my friend*
Him: Yes, it is
Me: *flies out of bed* OH MY GOOOOOOOOOD! FuLEHVUH!!!!!!!!! (that's how you pronounce Flavour with an Igbotic accent) OMG OMG, hi! HIIIIIIIIIII!!!! How are you?
Him: I'm fine. And you?
Me: Like you don't even know! I'm totally obsessed with your music! OMG! Like seriously, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your latest album.
Him: Thanks. Very appreciated
Me: Like I made sure I sent your album to my family in Atlanta. In fact, my aunt LOVES you. She's more obsessed with you, than I am.
Him: Haha, thank you.
Me: OMG OMG OMG! Thank you so much. Job well done. Please make sure you sing a song with my friend!
Him: Definitely. We're going to work on that.
Me: YAY! Thanks again. Have a nice night!
Him: You too.

Friend: Hey, so what...
Me: THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! I told him he has to sing with you. Wait, it's my birthday next week! I should have told him to sing Happy Birthday to me! Give him the phone!
Friend: Oya, buhbye! *click*

Me: Changes phone status to "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! I spoke to Flavour N'abaniaaaaaaaaaaa! *faints*

I'm still not sure I like him as much as I like his music and voice. I mean, fine, he has a nice body, I guess? But it's his voice that really gets to me. I wish I recorded the phone call :(

BTW - this other song 'Ikwokrikwo' on his album really gets me going!
