Learn How to Backup Your Blog on Blogger

Hey guys,

This is kinda random but this morning I suddenly remembered that I haven't backed up my blog in a while, and so I got it done within a few minutes. It occurred to me that some of you may have never done it or thought about it before, so I'm posting a short tutorial on how to backup your blog - this is for those whose blogs are on Blogger. But here's a link for those on Wordpress (apparently you can even schedule regular backups!).

Great Minds - The Return of the Power Puff Gurls

Last weekend, I woke up early-ish, knowing I had a brunch date with my friends (remember, we ended up at Mico's Chicken and Waffles). Usually, I try to plan my outfits ahead of time, so that I'm not scrambling around trying to figure out what to wear. On this day though, I hadn't decided what I would wear, and I didn't even have an idea. You know how us women can be - closet full of clothes, and yet nothing to wear. I was having that moment.

Anyways, I decided to get on Instagram while lazing about and I saw that I was tagged in a comment. I went over to see what it was, and this was it...

We unconsciously keep wearing similar outfits! @stylefash25 stop it o! Were we twins in another lifetime? This is the 3rd time it's happening o. Madam what is going on? @berrydakara come and see something mbok.

Bloggirls aka Power Puff Girls Day In!

Sooo, the other day, I invited my girls, Fash (style blogger) and Bex (who Coox and Luvs2dress) over to my humble abode for a Girls Breakfast. I hadn't seen them since my wedding day, and I wanted them to see the little corner that Cakes and I call home. I decided to make it a breakfast date, mostly because Cakes had a wedding cake to deliver, as well as attend. Once the date and time were set, we came up with a menu, and we were all set!

Our Menu
Baked Beans
Bacon and Mushroom Omelet
Sausages (P.S. NEVER EVER get chicken sausages from Shoprite!!! They were so dry)
Freshly baked Bread

Fruit juice
Baileys (for coffee or whatever)

The day of, I woke up trés early to make sure the whole house was tidy, smelled pretty, and to get the ingredients ready. Unbeknownst to me, these females were still sound asleep, so I could have stayed in bed for another hour or two. However, it was a good thing I woke up early, because it turned out that I needed to have a serious conversation with Cakes about MY KITCHEN and how I need things cleaned and stacked in particular manners. He was at the bakery, and was too busy to listen to me, and all he said was, "Ok." Let's just say that I spent 30 minutes sulking and rewashing my our Food Chopper thingy (which is a gift from God Himself).
