Labor Day Weekend

Hey everyone,

Is it me or has anyone else noticed the subtle changes that new seasons bring? On my way to work this week, I've noticed the morning air is a bit crispy and lovely, just the way I like it. Fall officially starts on the 22nd of this month, and people begin to wind down summer during Labor Day weekend, which was this past weekend. Anyone who follows me on Instagram and Snapchat was treated to a whole weekend of fun, from the wedding our family attended to my sister's birthday dinner.

THIS was the post I originally wanted to put up earlier this week, but life happened - Windows Explorer just decided it wasn't interested in anything I wanted to do to my photos. Y'all know that I now watermark all my photos because of a bad experience, so without being able to add it, I wasn't comfortable posting.

The wedding was a lot of fun! We danced and danced and danced. Well, my siblings, our mum and I danced. It truly was a great time and I wish the happy couple a wonderful marriage!!!

The following evening was my sister's birthday dinner. My sister always makes sure to do something special for her birthday, and this year was no different.

It was a happy time, with lots of smiles, dancing and laughter.

I'm still iffy about posting my family's photos but this was a special occasion and I don't think my siblings, cousins and friends would mind.

My cousin decorated the party with my sister. I was supposed to help out but was knocked out by allergy medicine. I didn't wake up until AFTER they had finished *hides face*

Oh yes, and there was food. Of course there was food! You're guaranteed 2 things when my family hangs out - food and dancing. :)
