Berry Erm Weekend

Hey there!

I didn't have a busy weekend like last week o. I had the total opposite - barely left my apartment. I did have quite a bit planned but they fell through, and I'm sure my body was grateful for it. I had the most stressful week last week. I'm talking the kind of stress that could make me burst into tears! So when the things I had lined up for the weekend didn't happen, I was secretly happy. [Un]fortunately, that means no gist today :p

Let me ask a question though... if I stopped going out most weekends and didn't have events and outings to post, would you keep coming back to my blog? Please answer as honestly as you can. If you would, why? If not, why not?

In other news,
I came to the harsh realization that all the hard work I did in the beginning of the year to lose weight, is almost all reversing. I haven't been working out, and I went back to eating stupidly. I was thisclose to being very hard on myself this weekend because I tried on a dress and it refused to zip. But I'm now actively making changes again. This fitness journey - it's tough. What I'm learning is that it's a DAILY journey of choices. I'm going to try my darndest to finish off the year strong. Wish me luck!

And with that, I wish you a wonderful week. If you can, do the following this week - Smile at a stranger, Compliment someone, and Say Thank You to God.

    1. Thanks for your honesty. I don't think they'll stop necessarily. But maybe they won't come on a weekly basis. Either that or I break up outings into different posts?

  14. Yes, I would keep coming back. I love your sense of humour, and how you write. Personally, I think ever since you started concentrating more on your going out posts, you have unconsciously downplayed on those kinds of post we really loved you for.

    I won't tell you...

  16. Hello Berry,

While I enjoy reading your 'weekend waka' updates, I would still come and read your posts even if they weren't related to events. Your blog posts are so cheerful, I read and smile even if I'm having a bad day. The vibe here is always positive. :-)

It's perfectly understandable to have quiet weekends once in a while.

I totally agree with you, every self-improvement resolution is only achievable via a daily journey of choices. We are only human, sometimes life happens and we fall off track. We simply get back up and continue our journey.

I wish you luck and blessings!
