BERRY BEAUTY: Beyond Beauty Lip Gloss

Hey everyone,

This is my first ever beauty post. Well, like "proper" beauty post. You know with the swatching and things. I have to say this: Beauty Bloggers are trying!!! I never thought about how much work went into reviewing beauty products! Especially things like lip colors and eye shadows. Not only do you have to swatch, but you have to apply the product, take it off, and redo with the different colors. Shouts out to all the beauty bloggers! Keep your faces up :D

Anyways, I got these BEYOND BEAUTY LONGLASTING 24 HOURS lip glosses from Nuella Michaels. They previously ran a giveaway on the blog - they stock accessories and beauty products, so be sure to check them out. Like I was saying, I got the products from NM. I saw my neighbor a few weeks ago at the end of the day, and I really liked her lipstick. She told me she hadn't reapplied the whole day, and that she bought the product from Nuella Michaels. I reached out to them, and very happily got three of them as a complimentary gift! I would have been happy to pay as they are only N700! Yeah, you read that right.

I've worn them twice now, and they really lasted the whole day long without any need to reapply! I even went to a party, ate and drank several times throughout the day, and the color stayed put.

I know these are supposed to be lip "glosses" but they're not glossy - they're matte. Just FYI. Be sure to moisturize your lips beforehand! I used my Ajali Lip Balm.

NUMBER 42: DARK WINE
This is my favorite one!!!

NUMBER 7: BRIGHT RED
Erm, this color. I think it's too bright for my face. I eventually put the Number 42 on top of it, and I much preferred it that way.

NUMBER 10: PURPLE
I like my purple lip colors, but I think that I would have to mix this one with a different color to tone the purple down.

I think that even though I need to mix the Bright Red and Purple colors to suit my face, they would look great on other skin tones, so definitely try them out. Again, they're just N700 a pop on the Nuella Michaels website. And while you're there, grab a pair of earrings too!

Told you they last all day!

  10. Beyond beauty has really great matte lipglosses. I have one in colour 26 (Nutmeg) and it looks and feels great on my skin.

I think the second one looks way better. It drew my attention to your lovely ebony skin. Nice post!!!
