Berry Lovely Links

I started this series last week, and I got some good feedback (thanks for your comments). I must say I thought it would be super easy to get a bunch interesting or cool links for you to read, but for the life of me, it took more effort than I expected. Anyways, I think the links for today are funny or enlightening, so grab a drink and sip while you enjoy :)

britney spears, bridal shower, sex wedding night, bloggers

  1. LOL, why does Britney Spears look so terrified behind her smiles????
  2. I recently found Hot, Holy and Humorous - a blog about sex and marriage by God's design.
  3. Do you think a bride's friends should ask her groom to contribute to her bridal shower?!?!?
  4. Read the 9 reasons why a lot of couples don't have sex on their wedding night. (Our reason is there too :p)
  5. This guy here talks about the Real Cost of Weddings [in Nigeria].
  6. Okechukwu Ofili rounded up 6 very successful Nigerian bloggers to share their worst mistakes

  1. Great links. I remember seeing that bridal shower one and it's so crazy to me. People should stay in their lane!

  2. Lol@#3. I would say: "Biko do not call the groom!" If the bridesmaids are on a certain budget, work with what you've got. Organize the event as best as you can. Some guys might say they wouldn't mind being asked to chip in for the bridal shower but I have a feeling that A LOT would not be pleased about being "forced" into it...not to mention that the bride might not be happy when she finds out.

  3. I shouldn't have laughed at the Britney Spears' article because I know she has some psychological issues, but I did. Anywhoo, I will go for confession later and ask for forgiveness, right after I finish laughing: hahahahhaahahahhahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha.

Asking groom to contribute to bridal shower is tacky on so many levels. I can't even deal.

    1. Well, from what I know, the bridal shower was originally intended to give advice to the bride before her wedding. But these days, it's become an added production to the wedding.
