Berry at Sweet Kiwi Yogurt

I was going to put up these pictures as part of the weekend post, but since that one was quite long with a lot of pictures, I decided to split it up.

If you guys know me, you know I enjoy food. One of my favorite things in the world is ice cream - specifically, chocolate ice cream, or any ice cream with a Baileys flavor, topped with coconut candy, brownies, almonds and a smashed up waffle cone. Unfortunately, loving ice cream isn't great for my waist line, so every now and then, it's better to go with a healthier option = FROZEN YOGURT!!! And this is where Sweet Kiwi comes in.

I first heard about them last year or the year before, and always wanted to try it, but didn't get a chance to until the Savvy Garden Party. I also had some at Wed Expo. But this time around, I went to look for them myself. They're located on Admiralty Road in Lekki 1, in a brightly colored building.

When you walk in, the space is neat and clean. Over on the left side, you have the instructions on how to select your treat, and the different flavors.

They have notes that show you the nutritional content of the flavors. It would be nice to know the serving size as well :)

On the opposite side, they have all the different toppings, and then you weigh and pay!

Finally made up my mind!!! Doesn't it look yummy? It was less than N1000 too!

And that's my journey in search of froyo (frozen yogurt) at Sweet Kiwi. I'm not going to give ice cream up o, but for those times when I'm feeling health conscious, I know where I can go to.

Have a lovely rest of the week :)

  1. It is so annoying that we don't have anything close to this in PH,since i relocated back to ph from abuja i have. Been craving Froyo,in abj they have Yoghuberry and fruity tuty and yes it's a substitute to icecream for weight watchers like myself.

    1. PH is just... I don't know what's going on with that city. So much unrealized potential!

    1. Lol, you should give it a shot. And it's not expensive either - or rather, it's cheaper than Coldstone.

  3. @Ufuoma I feel your pain. We've got nothing in ph. Once in a while I can find "Blue Bunny Ice cream" In spar but that's not an all the time treat.. Sigh...

  6. I almost switched my allegiance from ice cream to froyo until I discovered the sweet ones I liked had more calories pound for pound. Oh well...

  7. I love Sweet Kiwi, I even saved my long lemon-green spoon. Food is seemingly more delicious when eaten with a fancy looking spoon :-)

    1. Awww, that's sad. The few times I've had Sweet Kiwi I've enjoyed it - always at parties though, and this one visit. I learned that they rotate flavors so you never really know what you're going to get until you visit.
