Berry Lovely Links

Happy Happy Friday!

It's been a week! But hey, June's over in just 2 days and then we'll be smack dab into the second half of the year, and Q3! How have you done on your goals so far? I hope well. If not, take a look at my Goal Getter Guide to help you smash the rest of the year - it's not too late!

  1. Jummy's Fortieth Birthday post is one of the most endearing and heartwarming posts I've read in a while.
  2. I was dancing in my seat at work to this 2000's Naija Throwback Mix! It'll be great while carrying out chores or driving around this weekend.
  3. This was fun to do. If you want to know What Leonardo Da Vinci Was Doing At Your Age, just click the link.
  4. I need a refresh in my space (and closet too, but funds!!!) so this post on How To Update Your Space Without Spending a Cent is just what I need.
  5. This article, MultiLevel Marketing is Dangerous For Women reminded me of how one lady almost talked me into signing up as a product seller under her. She caught me at a very vulnerable moment, and I was this close to signing on the dotted line, but stopped because "How can I just finish crying about how little money I have, and you're telling me to spend $100 to register for this business? Bye Felicia!"
  6. Summer just started officially last week, so How to Feel Confident in a Bathing Suit is right on time.
PS. I came across the interview by Busola Dakolo sharing how she was raped by a pastor in Nigeria. It is far from the first time that this pastor has been accused of abusing his power and influence. Watch the first part of the interview here.

Also, I have posted my second episode of the Mommy Oyoyo podcast! Listen as I share my thoughts on Children's Birthday Parties here.

  1. The throwback jams are so cool

  2. Hello Berry! I did not realize you had started a new podcast. It looks very interesting... I will check it out. - www.jamilakyari.com

    1. Thanks Jamila!!! I hope you enjoy listening to it :)

  3. Hi Berry! I cannot believe we are now in Q3. Hmmmmm, this thing called life heh? I have dopwnloaded your Goal Getter because gurrrrrrrrrrl, in the next six months something has got to give! I believe I am prayed up, but it's now time to execute!
Thank you for introducing me to Good Naija Girl. Her blog is now on my reading list! I love her spirit. And, I did not know that you now have a podcast! So admirable that you are creating your own opportunities!

    1. I knowwwwwwwwwwww. Q3 seemed like it was so far away but here we are. Woot woot to setting and smashing the second half of the year!!!

I've followed GNG for years and her posts are always a treat to read.

      Thanks for the kind words!!!!

  4. Congratulations on the new podcast dear
