Throwback - Maternity Shoot Photos

That's how in my dense fog of the last half of 2017, I managed to NOT post any of my maternity shoot photos! I could have sworn I did, but while looking through my blog a few days ago, I was astonished to see that I never did. I know the song says "it's too late to apologize" but apologize I shall, and you have already forgiven me, so woot woot!

The photos were taken just 2 or so weeks before Baby Cocoa came. I hope I already told you that my pregnancy was high-risk and I was put on strict bed rest the weekend after I announced we were expecting. If I never mentioned it, please oooo, let me know in the comments, so that I can fix it with a post!

My brother took the photos - please follow his media page on Instagram @Primapics and on Facebook at Primavera Pictures. You already know I have a penchant for black and white - my wedding colors were black and white, I wore the same colors for my baby shower, and I decided to stick with the same color scheme for my maternity shoot. My inspiration was from Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I didn't have the pearls, tiara or gloves, but still...

I think I was a beautiful pregnant woman - but I certainly don't miss being pregnant, unlike someone whose name I will not mention (she knows herself).

I hope you liked the photos!

Dress: H&M
