Berry Christmas Tree Weekend

Hello you very lovely person,

How are ya? How was your weekend? Tell me all the food you ate, because I ate a bunch of NONSENSE!!!!!!! I don't even feel sorry for myself, because I'm being really silly - why put in all the hard work at the gym throughout the week, and then mess it up with cake, ice cream, small chops, etc during the weekend?!?!? Somebody pray for me please!!!

Without further ado, let me share photos from the highlight of my weekend. Cakes had a wedding to attend - he made the wedding cakes and was also invited as a guest (meanwhile, how does someone who's married get an invitation for one person only? That's some "putting asunder" business, yo!)

Anyways, we spent the whole morning making cake deliveries before finally settling down for the wedding. These are just two of them.

I wasn't sure what to wear to the wedding, but at the last minute decided on a green top and my red lace skirt (from my cousin's wedding asoebi). I kept calling myself a Christmas tree the whole day :D On top of that, I decided to match my makeup to the outfit, so there was a LOT of green and red going on. But I think I made it work, no? If nothing else, at least the makeup was nice (I still can't put the strip lashes on).

With my outfit, I dug up this cute little purse we got for free on our Dubai trip (see those photos here, here, and here). I had never used it before Saturday. You like?

The food at the wedding was aight. I almost had to hustle for small chops, and at the end of the day, it wasn't very nice, which honestly makes me sad. I think that one of the highlights of any awesome wedding is awesome small chops - yeah yeah yeah, okay her dress, the vows, sure marriage, blah blah blah - SMALL CHOPS MUST BE ON POINT!!!

Cakes left for the bakery at 2am on Saturday to make sure all the cakes were ready on time. I liked this cake, and I don't think my photos do it justice at all.

Halfway through the wedding, Cakes took off the chandelier bits to help the couple get the cake packed up. Funny enough, I think I prefer the cake without the crystals. I'm such a plain person sha.

I have a confession!!! Cakes detests it when couples dress alike, and I usually chuckle too, but sometimes I think it would be nice if we color-coordinated our outfits. I'm not saying he should have worn green and red too, but... just look at this :(

Anyways, that was the only thing I got up to this weekend.
