Berry Brunch Weekend

Hi there darlns!

How was your weekend? I hope you had a good one - hopefully got to rest and relax. I wish I had spent more time relaxing, but I had a good weekend. I ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much! I don't know what it is about weekends that make you feel like you can eat whatever you want. On Saturday, at my sister's BBQ I ate so much that I felt too full... and then had TWO helpings of cake and ice cream! I need to stop - somebody help me!

Yesterday afternoon I met up with fellow blogger, Titi. She blogs at Titi's Passion and was named one of the top fashion bloggers in Atlanta! We'd met a couple of times, but decided to meet up one-on-one and get to know each other a little better. We had brunch at Lobby at Twelve in Atlantic Station, which is one of my favorite parts of Atlanta. Neither of us had ever eaten there but we thoroughly enjoyed our food, and now I wish I had taken more photos for a proper review. I kinda miss doing review posts.

Anyways, we talked about ourselves, our families, and blogging. She's been blogging for years but just decided to get serious with it about a year and a half ago by deciding to commit to a number of posts per month - very good tip for new bloggers, or even old bloggers who are having a hard time. She also mentioned how it's good for bloggers to reach out to PR people, as they can get you into events and aid in meeting businesses and brands. I definitely got quite a few great ideas and I'm glad we decided to meet up.
