Now you guys know I've gotten Faux Locs done before - this was back in 2015 at the Savvy Chic Hair and Beauty Hub. I absolutely LOVED that hair style, but didn't like the pain and discomfort that came with it during the first week or two. Anyways, now that I found an "easier" way to achieve them, I decided to just close my eyes and do it myself.
Here's the video to watch and learn this technique, originally created by Jazz Nicole.
Next time I'll share some different styles I came up with - all of them done without using a single accessory!
P.S. As far back as February when I had this hairstyle, a few people already started seeing my preggo nose :p Was it really that noticeable?
They are really nice and natural looking. I got crotchet faux locs in earlier this year. I can't say I was the biggest fan, because I think I installed too many to be able to style the whole lot. Perhaps I will give it another try!

Oh yeah, if you have too many on, it either hurts or is too difficult to style.
DeleteYou bet it was. Nice hairdo by the way. Just took mine down like two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteThanks. How did you get yours done?
Did mine the old fashioned way. Took me two days to complete. Might try your take on it some time in the future.
DeleteCrochet one hairstyle i have never worn. Some people will notice preggy signs at one month even lolz. You look good.

I noticed my friends pregnancy signs early! LOL. I was actually ashamed of myself and felt like a womb-watcher.
DeleteThanks!
