BERRY CHOPS: Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe by Cakes

Hello there!

Today I have a different kinda post. Let me know if you like it and would like me to feature more of these :)

I know I've mentioned that Cakes cooks better than me - well, I wash dishes waaaaaaaaaaay better than him, so whatever. Anyways, a lot of times, he gets in a cooking zone and kicks me out of the kitchen. One such day, he decided to make shrimp fried rice, which I must tell you was sooooooooooo good! He was nice enough to share the steps he used, so enjoy :)

Sawry I'm not a recipe writer, so bear with me.

1. Marinate chicken* and boil till tender, ensuring you have enough stock left over. The chicken was fried afterwards to accompany the rice.

2. Prepare rice (parboil if necessary), and boil in stock. Cakes uses curry, ginger, garlic, Knorr and salt for taste.

3. Prep your vegetables - Cakes diced carrots, green pepper, red and yellow bell peppers, red pepper, onions and spring onions. We didn't have green beans, or he would have added them.

4. Fry onions until translucent, then add the red pepper, then spring onions, then carrots and bell peppers.
