Behind the Scenes of Mommy Oyoyo Podcast

Hi there!

If you've been following me for a little bit now, then you know that I have a podcast called the Mommy Oyoyo podcast. I started the podcast on Anchor about 9 months ago and it's been slowly growing a loyal following. I wish it would grow much faster though, but I thank God for progress! Anyway, an old friend of mine who I've featured on the blog before (see here) filmed a Behind the Scenes project with me and I'm sharing it today for your viewing pleasure.

In this episode, we catch up with content creator, blogger and podcaster - Berry Dakara. Berry is the creator of the popular podcast series - Mommy Oyoyo, a podcast that highlights the highs and the lows of motherhood from an African perspective. Topics featured in the podcast series includes breastfeeding myths, getting tubes tied, mom guilt, dealing with divorce as an African mum, raising a biracial child and living with sickle cell, just to name a few. BTS Gee goes behind the scenes to capture the "method to the chaos" (Berry's words, not ours) of putting an episode together. We get the inside gist of how the podcast got it's start and learn of its true essence.
*The Potty Training episode ended up being episode 27*
