PhotoWall - Wall Art Review (With Discount Code)

I have lived in my parents' house since I moved back to the US about 4 years ago. I have been very blessed to have their support, not only with accommodation, but also with helping me out with Coco. I am constantly reminded how lucky and blessed I am, and I don't take their hospitality and love for granted.

That being said, coming from having my own apartment while I lived in Lagos, to living less independently has been... interesting. The perk of not having to pay rent, is of course AMAZING! And again, having Coco's grandparents around most of the time, is a HUGE help to me. But sometimes, I do miss my independence and having my own space and domain.

I enjoy "Me Time" and being by myself with either just my thoughts, a journal, a book to read, podcast to listen to, etc. That's why after my long days, I cherish the hour or two that I get to spend in my bedroom after I've put Coco to sleep. My bedroom is kinda like my sanctuary. Over the years, I've tried to make this room my comfort zone. I have changed the mattress, gotten a desk where I work from, made a DIY gallery, etc. Now, in collaboration with Photowall, I have added more of ME to my bedroom.

I was pleasantly surprised when Photowall reached out to me to gift any wall art of my choosing for a review. With Photowall, the possibilities are endless! You can order a canvas print like I did, a poster, wall mural or an entire wallpaper! Now, if I had my own house, chances are I would have ordered a wall mural. Anyway, Photowall has thousands of designs that you can choose from, or you can use your own photo.

I have always wanted a blown up photo of myself - LOL, is that vain of me? When it was time to place my order, I knew I would request one of my photos in canvas but couldn't decide which one I wanted out of two photos. The first photo I submitted needed slight editing (I wanted the background cleaned up a little) and the Photowall team sent me the edited photo within 24 hours. However, I ultimately decided to go with my other photo choice.

I placed the order very easily via the Photowall website. I should mention that when you enter the canvas size you want and upload your chosen photo, you will be told whether the canvas dimensions are too big (thereby reducing the quality of the photo). My photo canvas size is 23.62 x 31.5 inches. Photowall ships worldwide, and I received my print unassembled in 3 days. The directions to assemble the frame were pretty straightforward and it took about 10 minutes or so to put my canvas print together.

I ABSOLUTELY love my wall art, and as silly as it may sound, I glance up at the photo a few times a day and smile to myself. I love that this bedroom is becoming more of what I want, but I also look forward to hanging my Photowall art in my future home.

Photowall is a Swedish company that is passionate about creating inspiring spaces. You can order a wall mural for your child's bedroom, your favorite room in your house, office space wall paper (BRANDING!!!!), or even get a canvas print or poster as a gift for someone you love (Valentine's Day is around the corner, so act fast!). Like I mentioned, they ship worldwide and have a team of people ready to assist you with your order and they are offering a discount code just for you!

GET 25% OFF your Photowall order between now and March 5th when you enter "berrydakara2021" during the checkout process.

  1. I also enjoy same, besides the photo is so lovely

  2. You're so blessed to have this kind of support from your parents. Honestly having a blow up photo of yourself is not vain at all! I have photos of myself all over my apartment. I'll actually check Photowall out. They ship world wide and I could actually do with another photo!
