I'm in such a happy mood. I watched the American Idol Finale with my sister yesterday and it just took me back! The show started in 2002 and churned out such great talent. Honestly, it was an iconic show and I'm glad I watched the first few seasons. I'm still mad Adam Lambert didn't perform last night though.

T.M. Lewin Fit for Friday

Happy Hump Day people!

It's officially half-way through the week, and I'm sure most of you can't wait until Friday. For those in Nigeria, especially now with all the fuel wahala, after work on Friday you probably want to head out for some relaxation and fun, instead of sitting in maddening traffic. Others in the diaspora would likely be going to happy hour with coworkers or meeting up with friends after work. If it were me, I'd probably be going out on a date with Cakes.

This brings us to T.M. Lewin, makers of fantastic quality business wear from suits to dresses to separates (tops, skirts, trousers, etc). I used to think they made items that could only be worn to the office, but I was pleased to see a lot of options that I (and you) can easily translate to after-work settings.

Y'all know I like to keep things simple, so my choices from the T.M. Lewin online shop were a Knit top, Cropped Trousers and a Blazer. I would carry a purse that could easily go from work to a bar, and this one from Kate Spade fits the bill. With a quick change of shoes from Nine West; brighter accessories; going from a natural hair updo to a parted afro, it would be very easy to go from Day to Night with T.M. Lewin.

Q1 Review and Goals Update

Hey there!

Can you believe we're already in the second quarter of the year?!?! Where is the time flying to?! Before you know it, I'll be 55 and my children will be telling me they want to get married! LOL. There's still a little bit of time before that, so I thought it would be good to check up on some of the goals I set at the beginning of the year. I actually wrote 3 different posts dedicated to how I want 2016 to go for me.

First of all, BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA to everyone that fell for my April Fools' Day prank! I spent the whole day smiling, giggling and chuckling. It was too much fun!

Okay, later on this week, I want to put up a post and/or a vlog with a progress report after being in Hamrika for one month. I already have ideas of what to talk about, but I thought it would be good to answer any questions you may have as well.
