Maternity Style - Casual Dress and Denim

FYI - I took these photos a while ago, and the day I edited them, I was in total shock!!! I hadn't realized my tummy was actually that big!!! And this is still with a few months to go o. It dawned on me how deceptive and deceitful the Samsung S7 Edge is! This whole time, when I take pictures and selfies, the lens would just make me look like one slim yummy mummy. Well, my camera lens gave a quick slap in the face sha.
Anyways, does anyone remember this dress from this other post? Just go and see the difference in body size and shape. CHAI!!! Like I said on Instagram 2 months ago, even though I'm not Team Snapback, I must lose this weight once Baby Cocoa comes o. Abeg. This is what they mean when they say women don't recognize their bodies anymore with pregnancy and childbirth. And some of y'all do it more than twice?!?!?! Y'all are the real MVPs!!!

P.S. I thought my tummy was big here... LOL, I had no idea what was coming :P Funny enough, I'm actually enjoying my larger tummy now.

  2. Lol at the point where you talked about the deception of the phone. This happens with mirrors too. I love the dress and denim jacket adds a nice casual twist to it. Totally random but my curiosity is killing me, so what makes you enjoy the bigger tummy.

    1. Thanks Sarah.

So when I wrote the post, I was enjoying my bigger tummy - not knowing it was still going to be bigger like it is TODAY. I think at that point, I had gotten used to my body being the way it was, and as having more fun dressing the bump. :)

  4. Awww your bump looks high up. I can't wait to see if my gender guess is correct. ;) It's been 13 months and I'm now starting to look back fondly on my prego bump days. It is fun dressing it up! When else do you have the glorious excuse to proudly show off a large round tummy?!

  5. You look great, and the dress suits you! Lol @ the rings being off.
Really can't wait to see baby cocoa esp as you're not telling us the gender, and cocoa is sooooo neutral!
    Anytime now maybe?
