DISCOVER GEORGIA - Ponce City Market

HEWU! I can't believe I didn't put up any posts last week! As in, the days were just going by and I didn't touch my laptop once! Ndo. Pele. Ma binu. Forgive me por favor and per favore! I promise I'm not becoming a lazy blogger. *hides face*

Okay, so y'all know I like to travel (see all my travel posts here), and part of traveling is exploring your own neighborhood and surrounding areas. There are lots of things and places to see in the Metro Atlanta area, and whenever I can, I like to go a-looking and exploring like Dora.

So this time around in my Discover Georgia outing, Cakes, Tammy and I decided to head to Ponce City Market. It is located in a historic building in the heart of Atlanta, and was redeveloped to include shopping, food, entertainment, and even living quarters. When I see things like this, I wonder about all the abandoned building all across Lagos, and even Nigeria. Why can't they be re-purposed for things that will bring in income? Obviously, Nigeria is highly on my mind still. Anyways, let me let you enjoy some of the photos we took on our exploration :)

There are soooooooooo many restaurants to choose from when you enter the food hall.

We settled for Korean BBQ and Indian.

After eating, we just looked around and took some photos.

We didn't have enough time to really explore properly. I know there's a rooftop bar or restaurant or mini-golf place. Hopefully one of these days, we can go back and spend more than 1.5 hours there.

I have this one last photo that I took, and I think the message is very inspiring. There are many times that you may want to give up on one thing or another (I've talked about Failure here and my Youtube channel). But like I said before, as long as you're alive you need to KEEP GOING! If you can take a breath, you can take a step towards what you want to achieve. Keep your eyes on where you want to be and continue doing whatever you need to do to get there!
