REVIEW: Rhapsody's, VI

In my last Weekend post, I mentioned that Cakes and I had an impromptu date night and ended up having dinner at Rhapsody's, in Victoria Island. I was a little hesitant about going there honestly, because from what I remembered last year, it would get full very quickly and you needed a reservation. Cakes kept insisting though, and ultimately, I'm glad he did.

Berry Long Weekend

Bonjour ma petite jolie!

Comment ca va?

How'd your weekend go? Mine was a long one. Well, not long per se. Just full. And because it was so full, and I had stuff to do everyday, it felt long. Trust me, I slept like a baby last night from sheer exhaustion! So let's have a quick round-up shall we?

Instant Faux Locs LIVE at Salon Day Out

Hiyaaaaa!

How's your weekend going? I hope it's pretty. I just had brunch - scrambled egg, sausage and avocado toast with a cold, refreshing smirnoff ice :)

Yesterday I got most of my faux locs done at Savvy Chic Hair and Beauty Salon (30 Norman Williams, Ikoyi). It didn't take the usual 50 million hours to do, because Dabs (Naija Hair Can Grow) has created a method that literally cuts the time in half! The rest of my hair will be completed in a live demonstration tomorrow at Salon Day Out, in Oriental Hotel and starts at 12pm. Tickets are just N500 and are redeemable at any of the vendors' stands!
If you're in Lagos, I hope to see you there. Make sure you say hi :)

Sooooo do I look like Lauryn Hill from The Fugees days or what?

I'm BACK!!!

Hi guys!

I'm back - did I mention that already?

First of all, Boooooooooo!!!!! Boo to the silly guy who made me lose my earring yesterday cos I was raking for him! Somebody should tell Nigerian pedestrians the purpose of sidewalks!!! I wish I had super powers, cos I would have pulverized him into the concrete yesterday!!!!! Imagine, my first day back and somebody was trying me. *hiss*

*WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSAH!!!*

Okay, I'm done being annoyed. So I'm back to a lot of things.

Back to Cakes Wakesy (he made me a surprise birthday cake yesterday, which people on Instagram seem to love - what is with Nigerians and food, or is it cakes?).

Follow me on Instagram
Back to work (*le sigh) but thank God for a job that doesn't make me cringe or cry.

Almost back to my fitness routine (once I overcome jet lag).

Back to playing Candy Crush - not like I ever stopped (yeah, I lied about breaking up with CC). In fact, I downloaded Candy Crush Soda too, so wa'eva!

Back to you guys cos I luh you like dat!

But most importantly, I'm back to crushing on Nollywood actor, JOSEPH BENJAMIN! Do you guys know how fine he is?! Like, seriously! He's the real definition of tall, dark and handsome :D I got distracted for a second by the Igbo boys (Flavour and Phyno), but it's time to go back to my roots, as he was the first Nigerian actor that caused butterflies in my tummy. Where is this coming from, you ask? Desperate Housewives Africa (I saw a few minutes of the first episode, and JB walked in and I lost my breath for a second).

Okay, lemme stop blabbing. The point is I'm back. I hope your week is going well :)

P.S. Please don't tell Cakes about the last paragraph.

P.P.S. Cakes, if you've read this, please have selective amnesia and forget the last paragraph. I love you more than cake and ice cream, and a tiny bit more than ripe boli and fish.
