Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!
It's just a little after 7am, and I've been up for 2 hours because I had to help Cakes with a couple of Valentine's Day deliveries. But before we made the first delivery, he "surprised" me with half a dozen roses and a cute card! Surprise in quotes, because I'm just too smart and I figured out that he ordered roses for me while ordering for his clients. Okay, it was easy to figure it out because I knew how many were ordered for the customers, and his cousin told me they decided to order 6 roses at the last minute.

Going under the knife...
Hey pretty people!
How are ya? I hope you had a lovely weekend. I most certainly did! From our date night on friday, staying home all day with nothing to do on Saturday, and spending some much needed quality time in God's presence... it was indeed, pretty good.
So I was at church on Sunday and heading to my seat, when one of my friends stopped me and said, "Berry you're always boning! Put a smile on your face! Everywhere you go, all the time, boning!" Of course that made me frown some more, but I remembered when someone told Cakes that she was surprised I said hi to her one Sunday and smiled at her. Do you also remember when I blogged that an usher told him someone said I was a snob?
Maybe I really just don't smile at all? Apart from being shy, a lot of times I'm so focused on where I'm going to (my seat, looking for Cakes, looking for cake), that it's the only thing on my mind, and I barely notice anything/anyone else. I usually have to be distracted to see what's happening around me. If I zero in on someone to say hi, usually for the next 5 minutes, my mind is focused on saying hello to everyone I see.
Anyways the point of this post is to bemoan and lament that I don't have a smiling face!!!! It's not fair :( I dunno how to remedy it. I can't possibly walk around with a smile plastered on my face (CONSCIENCE asks, WHY NOT?). So the next best thing is... Plastic Surgery!!!
Oui. I would have the surgeon turn up the sides of my mouth so that it looks like I'm always smiling. See examples below.

Great idea, right?
:D I'm smiling already :D

Date Night!
Here's the thing with Nigeria - you tend to do the same things over and over and over again. Someone like me gets bored and likes to switch things up. That's why I go to watch stage plays at Terra Kulture, enjoy different cuisine like Indian, Thai, etc (I had really nice sushi the other day), and get married on beaches. :p
Anyways, I was browsing on Facebook the other day and saw this flyer
I was immediately intrigued, because the few times I've gone to events at A White Space, I've had lots of fun. I decided to surprise Cakes with a date at the February 7th event - Dinner and a Movie. The movie that was supposed to be shown, Before Sunrise, ended up having technical difficulties, so we ended up watching 'Moonrise Kindgom.' The food and dessert was superb! I have to find out who cooked cos they did a great job. Anyways, here are some pics for you :)

On Pet Names and why they're bad for you...
Hey y'all,
Did y'all have a purty weekend? I did - will tell you about it in another post.
So you know my mind likes buzzing and all these random things enter my mind, or I remember some of my theories and have to share. Now is one of those times, so grab a crayon, cardboard, write it down and paste it on your office desk because that's where you spend the most time.
So pet names. You know how you're all giddy and seeing everything through rose-colored glasses, and you just know that he/she is the one! So you call him/her any of the following...
These bring a smile to your face, right? Of course they do, because you haven't learned why pet names are bad for you. Let's address the Top 3 reasons, shall we?

Weekend Snapz
Hello beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen :)
How was your weekend? What'd you do? Who'd you see? Where'd you go? What'd you eat?
Well, on Saturday morning, I had to wake up brighter and earlier than I'd prefer since it was the weekend, because Cakes had made a cake for his friend's wedding and we were attending. So I woke up, got dressed, and Cakes and his cousins and I piled into the car and went off to the mainland.
We got there, set up the cake, and ran off to Mr. Biggs for breakfast (it was yucky. Why weren't there fresh donuts at 9am?!?!). Then we went back to set up the cupcake table, and I found out that frosting cupcakes is NOT my forte and I shan't be quitting my day job. Shortly after, the reception started. We had a pretty good time. There was food and lots of drinks!
Anyways, just thought to share some pictures.
Have a lovely and pretty week!
Kisses!
