As I write this, today is January 25th. It is 9:13pm. I am catching up on blogs via Bloglovin (follow me here, let me know and I'll follow back), while watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - that's one of my guilty pleasures. Anyways, Cakes is chowing down on a plate of pounded yam with okro soup that he made earlier today - (yes, yes, lucky girl, cooking husband, uh huh, praise God).

I don't usually post on Saturdays but I wanted to put this out there. In the next 2 weeks I want to shoot 2 new vlogs, and they will both have a Question and Answer segment. The two videos I plan to post are:

On Broken Engagements

Hey friendly people!

Something's been on my mind for a few days now. What happens to the ring when an engagement is called off?

In my humble opinion, the girl/lady/woman should get to keep the ring because it was a gift from the man. HOWEVER, there are instances where I would say that man deserves to get the ring back.

1. She cheated 
2. She called off the relationship because she had cold feet, had a spiritual awakening, or something along those lines. If she breaks up with him because HE cheated, she gets to keep the ring. 

What say you?

Facebook Page, Yes or No?

I've been toying with the idea of a Facebook page for my blog. I see other bloggers that have pages, but they have like a gazillion followers, whereas I don't. Plus I feel like that would be crossing over into TOO MUCH! There's the blog, there's Twitter, there's Instagram, and now Facebook? I think it might increase visibility for the blog, but I just don't know if I need one. What do you think?

Random Post Alert! Knaughty Knickers!

It's been a while since I posted a random topic. I usually get them from my head, or discussions I have with people (such as the proper way to construct a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich... for the record, you put PB on one slice, and J on the other slice). Anyways, the other day, I was talking with someone about the different kinds of panties for women.

It started off when I was asked whether I wear G-strings (I'm a very easy person to talk to, so people feel the need to ask me TMI questions like this one). Well, I had my phase of V-strings (Victoria's Secret G-strings) in the early 2000's, right after my phase with Thongs (no thanks to Sisqo and his 'Tho-tho-tho-tho-THONG' song). I was actually almost obsessed with Victoria's Secret back in the day. If anyone wanted to buy me a present, I asked for a VS Gift Card.

Anyways, that phase passed. In retrospect, I used to think thongs and g-strings were the ultimate sexy underwear. But now, NO WAY JOSE! Maybe if you have buns of steel, no lumps, no jiggly-jiggly, then sure. Otherwise, give me a TANGA or LACE BOYSHORTS/HIPSTERS! Oh, you don't know what those are? Well, Wikipedia to the rescue!

Poll: Blackberry Z10 vs Samsung Galaxy S3

Hola!

It's my birthday in approximately 3 weeks and I'm thinking about getting a new phone (if not getting a new purse or going to Ghana or having a beach picnic or wa'ev).

I'm not big on phones or gadgets. All I really need is to be able to make calls, chat (Whatsapp is a MUST), take nice pictures and play games every now and then. I've checked up on reviews and I'm kinda leaning more towards the Samsung, since I already have 2.5 Blackberry phones. So I'm leaving it up to you. You have until FRIDAY to respond :)
