Hiya!
How was your weekend? I hope it was better than mine cos mine was UTTER CRAP!!! I was sick out of my mind! I had lunch with my sister on Friday afternoon at this Indian restaurant, and by the time I got home I felt weird. I thought I was just tired but it turns out I had food poisoning. I spent the whole of Saturday throwing up, sleeping, feeling sorry for my life, and other things I won't bother you with. Some people asked if I was preggers when I said I was sick... I feel like with Cakes being away, if I had gotten pregnant, it would be a BIG PROBLEM! :p
Anyways, those who follow on my Snapchat and Instagram would know that this post was coming up.

Salon Day Out - Photos
So here are the Salon Day Out photos from my weekend post from last week. There were quite a number of pictures, so I've put them into collages.
The event was put together by Dabs of Naija Hair Can Grow for her blog's 5th anniversary. She also owns the Savvy Chic Hair and Beauty Hub, which is a salon as well as shop for hair and beauty products.

Berry Long Weekend
Bonjour ma petite jolie!
Comment ca va?
How'd your weekend go? Mine was a long one. Well, not long per se. Just full. And because it was so full, and I had stuff to do everyday, it felt long. Trust me, I slept like a baby last night from sheer exhaustion! So let's have a quick round-up shall we?

Berry Buj Weekend
Hiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Who's excited for Monday morning?!?!?!? Oh, you're not? Oops, sawry. Well, I hope you had a nice weekend. What'd you do? Who'd you see? What'd you eat - in fact, that's the most important thing to me right now because I feel like I didn't get much in my tummy this weekend. Just don't send me pictures of food - I'll manage the descriptions :p
My weekend wasn't bad at all. Friday was a very busy day - work-related, and by the time I went to KL's Naturals to get my hair done, Kemi was swamped with a lot of customers. I wanted to get my hair done, because I was traveling on Saturday for an old friend's wedding. I ultimately decided to leave the salon and made up my mind to use my Nazuri Curls clip ins. On Saturday morning, we caught an early flight to Abuja and headed to our hotel, The Nordic Residence, to rest a little bit and get dressed. I'll review the hotel tomorrow, so look out for it.

Look at what I did for 31 days...
Yo yo!
It's Friday night, didn't get paid, my feet are aching and I'm a tired bumblebee. *random sentence that came from my fingertips and is completely unrelated to this post*
So I have natural hair, as y'all know. And I contribute to a natural hair blog, African Naturalistas. In the past month, just before my birthday, I went on an impromptu self-imposed challenge and decided to change my hairstyle every day for a month. I've posted all the pictures over here: Natural Hairstyles for 31 Days, but I'll share my Top 5 Faves with you here.
Just thought I should share. Mefinks I'm going to crash now. It's not even 10:00pm but je suis fatigue.
BONNUIT!

Dakara Shout Out - African Naturalistas
Hello friends :)
This is not a paid advertisement (although maybe it should be - @ilola)
I regularly contribute to another blog, African Naturalistas. It's a website that's geared to the African woman who's interested in, curious about, or has natural hair.
*Dear friends, I've met a number of Nigerians who call relaxed hair, natural. It's RELAXED. There's relaxed, natural, texturized, and I heard of a new one, texlaxed.*
Anyways, I contribute on Fridays, and I think you should visit and take a look-see.
Some of my favorite posts since I started are below:
*Ish Girls Say - Natural vs Relaxed Hair
Do Naturals Discriminate?
Things that have been said to me because of my hair
Happy reading!

Berry Dakara and African Naturalistas
Hi guys!
So I decided to take the African Naturalistas up on their offer. Yes, I'm now part of the African Naturalistas team and will be posting about once a week! It's a little daunting and yet exciting, and I know I have so much to learn on the way, so Yay Me! BTW, this means I'm blogging for 4.5 different blogs right now! (This one, Ajebutter NYSC, Cake Factory, and African Naturalistas... and sometimes Review Naija)
I just published my very first post on there, titled "What I Know Now - Letter to my TWA (Teeny Weeny Afro)." I remember when I cut my hair for the first time (and the second and third times, because of some scissor-happy stylists), I felt sooooo awkward. In my head, and from what I saw in the mirror, I looked like a secondary school boy, albeit with boobs :p. Anyways, thought it'd be fun to share some pics from back then.
