Sooooo, THIS happened...

These aren't official pictures, but Cakes and I had our Registry, Traditional and White weddings in the past 3 weeks! We just moved into our apartment yesterday... enough gist coming from the apartment hunt and first night at home (nothing x-rated, I promise)

These are shots from my phone, so enjoy :)

REGISTRY WEDDING
Hurr, nehls, dress and errythang that I wore for the Registry Wedding :)
It's official! We done signed the certificate and errythang! No going back!
Cakes made a pretty 2-tier cake and my friends took us out to lunch! Good times.

BRIDE PRICE PRESENTATION
This is what I wore at the Bride Price presentation. I got it made almost 3 years ago for my sister's traditional wedding, but never got to wear it. It finally came in handy and still fit!!! LOL @ me trying to do a Style Blogger pose.
Proceedings from the bride price presentation. I formally told my dad and the oldest male in the family that there was someone I wanted to get married to, and that he had come with his family.
TRADITIONAL WEDDING
Outfit #1 - This is what I wore to welcome the guests, groom and his family. All Gold Everything, innit?
Outfit #2 - This is what traditional Ogoni brides wear. The hair took 30 minutes to make... my mum didn't find it funny at all, cos we were already running late.
Outfit #3 - "India" Traditional Rivers State outfit. I wore this to go and look for my groom. I had always wanted white corals and the white hat :D Maaaaaaany thanks to my mum!
Outfit #4 - Itsekiri bride. Cakes' mum and my grandmother both come from Itsekiri backgrounds, so I had to pay homage
Outfit #5 - Urhobo wife in the hizzouse!!!

THE WHITE WEDDING
Woohoo!!!!!! This was barely a week ago. Yup, we had a BEACH WEDDING! Yup, in LAGOS, NIGERIA! I can't wait to see the official pictures and video
Remember how I went Treasure Hunting in my grandma's house in Owerri last year? Well, this was one of the treasures I found, and I just knew that I had to have it for my wedding. It was PERFECT!!!
Lovely shot taken by Bex!

Oh yeah, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I'm on a pseudo-honeymoon, so will get back to proper blogging next week. I just couldn't wait any longer to share the great news :)

I wish you and yours a wonderful year full of God's joy, love, peace, wisdom, grace and more.

Berry aka Mrs Cakes.
